Most of the time, you will find the AC circuits and circuit breakers located in a separate panel. This helps you, the RV owner, in determining between the 12-volt wiring and the 110-volt wiring. 110-volt wiring is protected by a removable panel so that the average RV owner won’t be placed in harm’s way.
Jun 19, 2014 · The fuse box is connected to both the battery and DC-DC inverter. It’s best to go through the fuse box. Be aware you can’t pull massive amounts of power. Ideally, 15 amps should be your goal, but 30 amps seems doable. I’d not go beyond that – which limits your amp choices. Go with Class-D amp, as these are the most power-efficient.
Include a surge limiting resistor of about 22 ohms in the common as well as a current limiting resistor in the output (before the energy storage capacitor) to allow the flashlamp arc to quench (e.g., 100-1000 ohms). A line fuse, power switch, and power indicator are also essential.
Mar 22, 2012 · The other 2600 watt inverter capacity isn't used by the batteries or anything else. The 3000 watts is the maximum capacity (load) that the inverter can supply (about 25 amps) to the load. If your refrigerator runs 600 watts for 1 hr, then you'll use 600 watts x 24 hrs = 14400 watts for the whole day. A 1000 watt inverter can handle that load ...
I chose an AIMS 2000w Pure Sine Wave inverter. Are you saying you had a problem with an inverter, or with an Uninterruptible Power Suppply (UPS)? Sometimes when the 100 amp fuse blows the inverter still gets fried. The usual problem triggering that is incorrect polarity jump starting.
